Owner and chef, Benjamin Sukle focuses on “sharable small- and large-format dishes which show off the local catch of the day at its finest—from the Raw Black Bass lightly adorned with olive oil and lemon to a Whole Roasted Fluke with handmade couscous and caramelized fennel dressing.”

“The Providence foodie darling, Oberlin (which earned the #7 spot on Bon Appetit‘s Hot Ten Best New Restaurants List during its first year), will be relocating from its current 186 Union Street address directly across the street to 266 Westminster Street.

YAGI NOODLES

Yagi Noodles opened up their pop up in Newport Rhode Island from December 2019 through April 2020 and just loved the experience so much they decided to go full time! They joined the Vieste / Vino family and found their new home at the old Bank Newport in Wellington Plaza at 580 Thames Street in Newport and have created a new eatery space down at lower Thames Street.

They asked for our Newport Sea Salt to join their menu and you can find us seasoning their WONTON NOODLE SOUP. YUM!!

Born and raised in Rhode Island, Chef Brian loves making good food with great people. He is a proud father, devoted husband and has worked in the restaurant industry for over 15 years, starting as a dishwasher and working his way up. He attended Tony Gemignani’s International School of Pizza and is a Certified Pizzaiolo from Scuola Italiana Pizzaioli, the oldest and most prestigious pizza school. Chef Brian is always exploring new products, researching ingredients and applying new techniques in his kitchen.
